girls that are hyper critical of other female-identified feminists and publicly denounce them for minor disagreements but routinely fuck and glorify obvious manarchists and brocialists who spew out misogyny, transmisogyny, and privilege-denial
is this directed at me, siobhan?
idk does it apply to you?
people who police and shame other people for who they fuck. also, mocking trigger warnings isn’t a minor disagreement for the people who use and benefit from them or face mental health consequences from ptsd. this is really crappy.
in comparison to blatant racism, privilege-denial, transmisogyny, body policing, slut shaming, VICTIM BLAMING, and objectification, i think opinions about trigger warnings are not super high on the list. there are people within the social justice community that have different opinions about trigger warnings and making fun of someone’s triggers isn’t really the most productive way of vocalizing that opinion, but it’s the fucking inconsistency in the standards we hold people up to. on tumblr, ESPECIALLY if it’s someone female-identified, let’s demonize people that otherwise agree with nearly all of our opinions about privilege and fighting against hatred, but if it’s a boy i like, oh well, shucks. his dirty little hateful secrets are safe with me.
